Attract new users to your kitchen

When you receive a booking enquiry, you can accept or reject the booking, as well as send the user a  request for more information. We do ask that when communicating with users to please be mindful of our community guidelines and be respectful of others. Chefs Cluster members value and respect one another regardless of age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity, citizenship or occupation online and in the kitchen spaces reserved.

Yes, as long as it is made clear in your listing so that users are aware of these restrictions at the time of booking. We have listings for vegan/vegetarian kitchens, kosher and halal kitchens, and everything in between. You can choose what kinds of products users can or cannot make in your space – just put it in the ‘rules’ section of your listing.

How it works

To make a booking, register as a user on Chefs Cluster, find the cooking space you want, and click to send a booking enquiry to the kitchen. You will get an email when the kitchen has approved your booking.

To finalise and confirm the booking, make sure you’ve provided your Australian Business Name (ABN) and recent insurance policy to use the space. You will then get a welcome pack for the kitchen, remember to respect the rules and instructions unique to the kitchen you’re using.

All first time booking invoices will include a charge for a Security Deposit that acts as a bond. You will only be charged once and the Security Deposit will be held in an Escrow account for the duration of your use of the Chefs Cluster platform.

Any drawdowns on the Security Deposit will occur if a claim is lodged for minor damage caused to the kitchen or any equipment within by the kitchen user. You will be informed if a kitchen host lodges a claim and have a week (7 days) to dispute the claim. This will then be resolved via our dispute resolution process (more information on this can be found in our Terms and Conditions).

"Chefs Cluster was incredibly supportive of our organisation through a period where we were struggling to lease / rent our commercial kitchen space. Being an Indigenous not-for-profit, we rely on the support of socially responsible business like Chefs Cluster and would be glad to work with them in the future should our kitchen become vacant again."
